Fred Oldfield rode over 1,000 miles in a covered wagon and went against all odds and spent his lifetime painting the west he loved. He had one man shows in museums, galleries, and castles. For thirty years he acted as host and centerpiece for the Celebration of Western Art Show – the largest western art show in the Pacific Northwest. The book shares his public and personal journey.
The book is a combination of a biography (much of it in Fred’s own words) and a coffee table book. It is 8 1/2”x11” – hard bound – has over 150 full page color photos of Fred’s paintings – over 100 photos of Fred’s life!
